http://www.americanbluestheater.com/performances/season-28-legends-legacies/american-myth/

Dr. Douglas Graham, best-selling author, beloved professor, and American history scholar, is accused by a former student of lying in the classroom about his participation in and around the Vietnam War. Exploring the line between personal and professional ethics and the difference between truth and history, American Myth poses the question: what makes a great man?

In thinking about Doug's speech at the end, I wonder if he "embellished" his history to have more recognition, unlike the way he felt John Adams was treated. Very good sotry line.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I really got into this play. I found myself leaning forward through most of it. Interesting story. Superbly acted! I really need to single out the performance of Mick Weber as Douglas Graham. One of the best performances I've seen in quite, quite awhile!

Hey!...There are two free tickets available for our Meetup showing of "American Myth" tonight...Mark and I planned to go, but one of us is sick, so we're donating our tickets to anyone who needs them. They are listed under "Arlene Kelly" and "Mark Fenton" if you need identifying information...Enjoy!

Hello..I'm having a problem buying these tickets online and I'm afraid to wait until Wednesday to try by phone...Supposedly, the tickets are $19.00, but every time I try -- even with the meetup code, they are charging me $33.00 apiece...HELP!

I just tried it and it worked correctly for me. Are you using the code MEETUP (ALL CAPS) in the field "Enter Promotional Code (optional)"? There is a $4.00 fee so it should come out to $23.00 total. Double check the date also: Friday, March 28. Try again and let me know.
