Richard 111 (or almost) - preview $20 tickets

Come along to a bargain priced preview! The play starts at 7.30 so we will meet near the box office (upstairs) about 7pm for a chat and a drink.

Richard III (or almost) had its World-première at the prestigious Festival of Avignon in France, followed by a season at the Star Theatre in Paris. It now has finally arrives back home in Australia to celebrate its long awaited and overdue Australian Premiere Season.  Patrick White Award winning author Author Timothy Daly saw the world premiere performed in French and will now see the Australian Premiere Season directed by the Austrian Director, Markus Weber. Two men are locked in a room, and forced by mysterious authorities to play and replay sections of Richard III. Its a game, but it’s a deadly game, and their lives may well be at stake.

Book your tickets via the link above (or Google King Street Theatre & go from there). Please ONLY RSVP YES AFTER you have bought your ticket.

Very physical acting & great, lighting projections & sound. Not sure if the play was certain which theme it wanted to concentrat on - the politics of arts funding, evil & good, the struggle to be an actor or...but an enjoyable evening!
