Interested in seeing shows (we all buy our own tickets but we try to get the best deal) or want to promote your own show FREE OF CHARGE (I just appoint you Co-Organizer and Event Host).
The International Players in Saint Germain en Laye or Le Pecq run workshops and events throughout the year and stage several excellent shows every year for over 15 years. There is also a choir and singers are always welcome. Members include professionals and talented amateurs so the standard is high. Visit their website and apply to audition for some of the next productions. http://www.internationalplayers.co.uk/ip/index.php
The American Big Funk Company runs Sunday brunch with staged readings fortnightly (September to June) at the Lucernaire theatre with a small charge. Run by Jeremy who also has a Facebook page. Stephanie Campion's Moving Parts has been held for the past 18 years fortnightly on Sundays at 7.30pm free of charge at City 27, 27 Cite Industrielle, 75011 Paris, Metro Voltaire. All plays or films have never been performed or read in public before. In English. Audience participation is essential to suggest modifications for the final production. Stephanie casts actors from among members. However, as the current venue only holds 20 people, this event is no longer a Meetup so please contact Stephanie via the link below
Other excellent Meetups in English exist: "Standup Comedy in English" run by Sebastian Marx and Burlesque classes and other exciting events run by Elena. Our group occasionally runs special workshops but regular excellent and very reasonably priced workshops are run by Peter Vickers, a well-known actor, director and coach, also a member of this group. Just visit "the Paris Drama in English" Meetup.
