"Ash Land" | Transatlantic Love Affair presents their 2013 Fringe Festival hit

This incredibly creative ensemble remounts the third in their string of rave-review Fringe Festival plays.

Ash Land is a story of love and self, lost and found.

Also take note (on the ticketing site) of VALENTINE (2/14) combo special with meal at Mason's.

The play is inspired by economic hardships past and present and scored by old American spirituals and new compositions on slide guitar. Transatlantic Love Affair specializes in imaginative, movement-based, and collaboratively created theatrical storytelling.

If this date doesn't work for you, they are playing dates through Sat., Feb. 22nd, sometimes with libations/food/guest speaker combo deals (including Feb. 14th combination of play with special dinner at Mason's, the restaurant in the same building.) Note: the Illusion Theater is on the 8th floor of the historic building (formerly Hennepin Center for the Arts) attached to Cowles Center for Dance. Enter through the Cowles main lobby on Hennepin and turn left to find the elevators. More info about performance dates and specials here: http://www.illusiontheater.org/events/lights-series-presents-ash-land
Tickets $17- $22 Box office[masked] Box office hours: M- F 1-5pm and two hours before performances.

From the website: The creators of Fringe hits Red Resurrected (2011 - Winner of the Encore slot) and Ballad of the Pale Fisherman (2010) are back with an innovative imagining of the Cinderella story. Using their signature style of physical storytelling, this gifted ensemble breathes life into the arid landscape of the Dust Bowl. Inspired by economic hardships past and present and scored by old American spirituals and new compositions on slide guitar, Ash Land is a story of love and self, lost and found. Transatlantic Love Affair specializes in imaginative, movement-based, and collaboratively created theatrical storytelling.
