33 Variations

Drama. Obsessed by a musical genius, Katherine is on a mission to unlock Beethoven’s strangest mystery: why can’t Ludwig stop generating complex variations on a simple waltz? On stage, present-day New York and nineteenth-century Austria co-exist, brilliantly bridged by memory, tenacity and live music. Both Katherine and Beethoven deny love and friendships as they strive for perfection; they might share just enough to make time (and our hearts) stand still. “…a convincing case for the genius of emotional variation in each of us, whether we’re Beethoven or not.” —Entertainment Weekly

Buy your own ticket. We will meet afterward outside the entrance to the theater and decide if anyone wants to go to Great Waters, Kincaid's or Pazzaluna for a bite to eat. I will be outside the theater entrance on the mall after the show. Free parking in the Macy's ramp on Sundays.

I hadn't planned on staying for the discussion. We'll have to wait a bit for Judith to finish ushering duties.

We don't usually stay for the discussion, but would be willing to join it if others are interested.

I am ushering for the 2 p.m. performance. Say "hi" if you recognize me. I might go with you afterwards, depending on the place.

We'll look for you at the entrance after the play. We're up for any restaurant, but think Meritage would be a great choice.

Sure. Great idea especially since it look like the group has grown a bit

OK if we stick with Meritage?
There is a post-discussion after the show and I think we'd get to the restaurant pretty close to 5.
Kincaids also open at 5. Not sure about Pazzaluna. Happy to change if you want.

We'll make a group decision on eating when we meet outside the entrance after the play.

Our options may depend on the running time of the play. Great Waters is open all afternoon. I believe Meritage serves diner starting at 5:00. There are two other restraunts one block away, Kincaids and Pazzaluna. They both open at 4:00.

Meritage would be our choice, but Great Water Brewing would be fine.

Hi all! So glad you're all up for dinner after the show!
Great Water Brewing and Meritage are very near by and either is OK with me. Any preferences or other suggestions? I'm really looking forward to this production and to meeting you!
