Elizabeth, CO. (30 or so minutes south of Parker)
I plan on networking with other professionals in the Denver area. I hope to meet new acquaintances, business associates, and, dare I say it, friends.
That's a good question. In my second semester of college I took 17 credits, which in addition to 1.5 hours of commute and 30 hours a week, completely overwhelmed me. One of my classes was Chinese II which I actually excelled at given my knack for Mandarin tones. We often had group projects in this class. One day, however, I showed up to class about 20 minutes late to find a group of students at the front of the room giving a presentation. Much to my chagrin, it turned out I had spaced the mid-term presentation worth a large chunk of our grade. My groupmate, Jason, noticed my anxiety and asked if I had prepared. I told him I hadn't and he handed me a stack of articles he had researched for my part on a whim. Needless to say, I was grateful!
I just want to meet people to hang out with and network with in Denver.
Hello all! I just moved to Capital Hill for a job downtown. I am a young professional looking to meet new people.
