One Year After Sandy: Activism, Solidarity, Animal Liberation A talk by Mickey Z

**3RD PARTY EVENT HOSTED BY THE NYC ANIMAL RIGHTS MEETUP**

This event is FREE and open to the public (bring photo ID) - FREE (and delicious) vegan buffet and refreshments for all who attend!

Join NYC's own Mickey Z. - vegan, activist, occupier, photographer, poet, and author of 11 books - for an urgent call-to-arms (followed by Q&A/discussion)

The climate may be changing but our tactics sure ain’t. Occupy the BIG connections—eco-defense, animal liberation, veganism, social justice for all earthlings—and make activism a daily part of your life.

Angela Davis says that being a vegan is “part of a revolutionary perspective—how we not only discover more compassionate relations with human beings but how we develop compassionate relations with the other creatures with whom we share this planet.”

COME TAKE THE VEGAN CHALLENGE: Bring your excuses, rationales, reasons, critiques, etc. and get the replies you need to hear!

Never been to a Mickey Z. event? Well, check your expectations at the door and prepare for a trip well beyond the accepted parameters of the corporate agenda.

Spread the word: bring friends, bring enemies...

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
