We have two more upcoming events this Saturday and Monday afternoons:
Doulas are making a come back! Learn why we need them more than ever.
Sat, Nov 16 at 4:15 pm
We keep changing the title of Saturday's meetup. We could call it, "Occupy Childbirth" or "Learn About Doulas, Midwives and Natural Birth" or "Learn How Big Business Has Medicalized and Compromised Childbirth" or "Learn How Chanel Porchia Transformed a Passion for Women's Wellness into a Career." The truth is, we'll learn about all of these things and have ample opportunity to share experiences, ask questions, and come together.

Meet Activist Bill Ayers & Friends — Benefit for WBAI Radio
Mon, Nov 18 at 1:15 pm
Join us for a freewheelin' chat with the legendary Bill Ayers (activist/author/educator and co-founder of the Weather Underground), Mitchel Cohen (writer, activist, poet, former chair WBAI-FM Local Board), and Rachel Laforest (Executive Director, Right to the City). Grab a cup of joe downstairs at Think Coffee or bring a brown bag lunch if you like, and have your questions ready:  each has a new book out and a lot to say about what you can do to help save WBAI Free Speech Radio and make the world a better place!
The doors will open at 1:15 pm and the chat will begin at 1:30ish.
Hope you can make it!
Warmly,
Christopher Pelham
