While we all play games for our body's health & fitness, few of us play games for our brain's health & fitness.  But recent medical research says we should.

It shows that there are 3 important contributors to brain fitness:

   (1) eating the right food & nutrition;
   (2) maintaining physical activity & exercise; and
   (3) playing super fun games with others.

The first two are easy enough to do, but where and how can you play super fun games with others?

Easy: Thinkers' Toys.

What are Thinkers' Toys?

Besides puzzles & abstract games, they include euro/strategy-games, those cognitively-rich and challenging but remarkably fun multi-player board-games that have been developed over the last 15 years.

If you're familiar with Catan, Agricola & Steam, or with Gencon, Origins & Essen, you know what Thinkers' Toys are -- games for up to 5 or 6 players that challenge players' problem-solving & strategy skills and are highly engaging.

If these games & events are new to you, that's ok, because we'll teach you about Thinkers' Toys at the MeetUps.

So, if you want to exercise your cognitive capabilities to develop & maintain your brain's health & fitness while having lots of fun, join the Meetup and attend some events.

    "I'm looking for some new connections. My late husband was a gamer, and I gave birth to another one. But what grabbed my attention was mentioning GenCon... which I've been going to for the last three years."

    "Hi, I live in Highland Park, and have traveled to some of the Chicago boardgame meetups in the past but it is a bit to far. It would be nice to meet some local gamers. I have Settlers, Puerto Rico, Dominion, Last Night on Earth and others. Nick"
