This One's for the Girls welcomes any and all women in the Santa Fe area who are over the age of 50.

Our group was formed in January 2010 by women who were looking for friendship and social activities with other women close to their own age. We now have almost 50 members and continue to grow.

Some of the activities you can expect to find on a regular basis are:  a potluck brunch at a member's home on the second Sunday of every month, a Sunday movie matinee at least once a month with a discussion afterward at a restaurant, a weekly walk or hike on a weekday or weekend morning, a monthly Happy Hour at a member's home on a Wednesday evening, and dinner at a restaurant on the fourth Wednesday of every month.  We also go to a variety of other events such as lectures, book-signings, concerts, art galleries, coffee/tea, lunches, and poetry readings.  All members are encouraged to schedule any event they would like on our group calendar, so if you have something you want to do but would rather not go alone, put it on the calendar and you will probably find that others would like to join you.

To defray the web-hosting costs there is a $5.00 annual membership fee which is payable in the first month of your membership.  All of our members are then billed $5.00 in January for the following year's dues.

Please note that this is a social group and not a business networking group.
