If you are a woman born between 1947 and 1962 this meetup is for you. Boomers are a generation of exceptional, educated, independent, say-it-like-it-is, explorers. We have studied, married, parented, worked, and had amazing lives.

We aren't done yet!

So, let's enrich ourselves by making dear friends while we have new experiences, eat good food, see interesting performances, and socialize with gusto on a regular basis.

When appropriate, we will  review applications.  Invitations to future Welcome Events will be sent via email through the meetup.com system.

Tidbits About Our Goals & Plans

Our Goals:
* Our primary goal is to form a community of girlfriends.
* Our secondary goal is to have interesting and varied activities for that group of girlfriends.

More Information:
* Most of our meetups are held south of the river unless venue dependent.

* We require that Girls attend a Welcome Event prior to attending other activities. 

* Most of our meetups will be limited in size to encourage conversation and getting to know one another.

* Those Boomer Girls meetup site is interactive. Members take active responsibility for keeping their RSVP's up to date. Please feel free to suggest new meetups, take part in discussions and polls, and communicate with organizers and other girlfriends. :)
