D&D at G&D

At the George & Dragon, 6PM, Have your D&D version 3.5 Character ready- we are starting a whole new campaign idea: The Savage Coast: Red Steel. Keep a Pathfinder and a 4.0 Character handy at levels 3 and 8 for one-shot adventures. Basic equipment, no gold (we do that on the spot). Arrive earlier for food specials if you're hungry. Be ready to have fun.

Do you know of a group that meets on Saturdays? My parents would flip if I went on Sunday, and a happy family is key to a happy life.

Oh my apologies! I thought that this was for yesterday! I am totally making it tonight hahah

Oh and what are the rest of the players rolling with? I don't want to show with a caster if everyone is a caster. Had a campaign like that once lol

Do 3.5 only at level one, we are doing a thieving party working in a local thieve's guild on the Savage Coast. Read the posts and download the PDFs, for background info. The party has one cleric so far and little magic. The Pathfinder characters and 4.0 characters should be made for one-shots- any archetype or class, one at level 3 and one at level 8 for each system :)

Well for next time, my character will be finished. Tooling at a stealthy back stabber type. Just 3.5 or is pathfinder archetypes acceptable?

Hello everybody, new to AZ and meet up. How does this work? Is there a application process?

Nope, you just sign up and click on the RSVP and show up at the place around the time of the meetup and we talk a little about what's going on and we start not long after the DM gets there. We try not to make it to complicated for people to join because we all are nerds that like to play :D . Just have a character ready to use and the magic items will be talked about those because the DM likes to try and keep it a fair game and not have anyone with a store of magic items lol.

Got room for a new face? Missing the gaming scene since I moved down here in August from Indiana. Looking for a mature ish group and to make some new friends.

I'm not going to make it tonight. I have several schedule conflicts due to lack of communication on their part. But I really want to join you guys, rain check?

OK, So we have newbies! Please read through some of our sources on the site. As far as recognizing you when you drop in: Um, sure. We will do our best, but no promises. A pic on the profile would help. That's why we also do the Roll-Up on Sundays, so we can get the character generation out of the way. At the George & Dragon, do you know how many guys with long hair might be in there at any given time? You know it's a certifiable English Pub...

OK, So I'm recovering from some oral surgery and pretty high on drugs. That's good for the group because I just did something really nutty: I scanned the two entire source books for the Savage Coast Red Steel setting for campaigns, something nobody has yet done in the entire world of D&D. So, Im going to post them up, probably in the downloads and sources page here. BTW, as I'm a bit outta whack- can someone remind me how I can merge multiple PDFs into one document? I was a little slow on the scanner sometimes, and have multiple saves...

I have a work conflict this week - Sorry we can't attend. I hate that we are going to miss meeting all of the new faces. Hope everyone has fun!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Looking forward to a new adventure. My normal groups have slowed significantly so I would like to meet others and get my fix of fun lol

Thinking of running this more often, so all-please let me know what works for your schedules. Im thinking of regular mondays

Yikes - That is a ton of travel time for Jeff and I. We live so far away. Making it up once a month is not an issue for us, weekly would be hard. We understand if you need to replace us to hold it weekly - Don't worry, we'll always be up for an adventure if our schedule fits.

So this sounds like fun. But sadly not for tonight. That gives me time to make a character then. Can someone send me some info on the campaign so my character fits?

So, For Red Steel campaigns, I found this online: http://pandius.com/legacy3e.html
