User-experience-driven mobile architecture

On a recent project, we built an instructional platform for K12 education based on Android tablets. We designed the platform bottom up, starting from customizations to Android operating system, all the way up to consumer applications. In doing so, we found out the hard way that, designing user experience for a platform is very different from designing user experience for consumer applications. We would like to share some very interesting stories about our experience, straight from the trenches. Come join us on 5th of Sept at the ThoughtWorks New York office!

Will be coming directly from a UX Design class, so I'll be arriving a bit after 8.

I'm just curious about it! Although I have no tech background!
