Welcome!

Women of all ages and ethnicities who have intermediate to advanced levels skills bring your fiber work of any type: knit, crochet, needlepoint, crewel, beading, mending, dry felting, paper craft -anything worked by hand with thread and portable. It will be fun to learn new techniques from each other and see what we are working on.

This is not a stitch and bitch group of beginners or those who like to work on simple projects. We will expect active participation. Regular RSVP- maybe is not an option. and by October contributions to defray the cost of running this group.

Let's get to know each other and inspire each other at regular meetups in SW Portland.

After joining our group, please send a brief introduction of yourself and please remember to check the message boards and polls. We also encourage you to post a picture as meeting strangers is hard enough without having a face with which to connect someone.

Consideration is being given to combining Thread Heads with Fiber Studio. (both created and organized by me) So check that one out too.
