If you haven't done this one yet, you owe it to yourself!
Spectacular views up top and a perfect lunch spot. On the way up there we might head over to a waterfall, so plan on a vino/snack break along the trail.
The hike has a gradual elevation gain of 1,600' and the difficulty level is moderate to strenuous.
This is a fun hike that takes in plenty of different scenery and views. We'll start in the lower lush region of the park that has a beautiful canopy, then head for the higher regions to the top of Barnaby Peak. The trail we take is fairly gradual, so virtually anyone can make it to the top. Spectacular views up top and a perfect lunch spot. On the way up there we might head over to a waterfall. Plan on a vino/snack break along the trail, so be prepared.
Plan on spending the entire day - in other words, no pub crawls that night. This is an incredibly beautiful park, and we'll see a lot throughout the day.
