If you are dedicated to personal growth and taking charge of your life and emotions, this group is for you!
We are building a community where you can have fun, learn new knowledge and techniques to improve your quality of life and thrive in life being who you truly are.
Two categories of activities overall:
- regular group support session:
the content varies session by session, no previously knowledge in psychology needed, just a heart of wanting to take care of yourself, generally it’s focused on one of these areas:
- empathetic listening and group support
- cognitive behavior therapy technique and application to a real-life issue
- other strategies/techniques inspired by individuals but isn’t classified as a psychology theory
- social outing:
brunch, hikes, day trips to beaches/museums/cultural events, etc.
We welcome everyone, regardless of race, age, gender, sexual orientation, occupation, personal preferences. You are 100% welcome if you experience anxiety and depression, and you are 100% welcome if you don’t. What defines the group is the aspiration to self-empowerment, not the presence or absence of depression/anxiety. The only constraint is that you consciously want to take charge of your life and emotions - even if you do not believe you have the skills/habits to do so today, that’s ok, after all that’s why we are here: to learn and grow.
