Join us for a FREE concert featuring Motown’s legendary Smokey Robinson. Feel the Motown sound move through the square as the city comes alive.
Motown vocalists Martha Reeves and the Vandellas will join Smokey Robinson for the “Heat Wave”, with a hot show that will feature a blend of jazz, blues, R & B, rock & roll and soul. The concert is a featured event of the 2013 TD Toronto Jazz Festival. More information.

SEATING ARRANGEMENTS: A limited number of wristbands will be distributed at 5 p.m. for the seating area at the Toronto Star Stage. If you don't get a wristband, you can view the concert throughout the square on a giant video screen. Limit of one wristband per person. You must be present to get the wristband.
Meet Karen at 3:15 p.m. near the hot dog vendors on the north side of Queen Street in front of Nathan Phillips Square at Toronto City Hall. Karen will be standing beside the grassy area and holding up a "Thumbs Up Toronto" sign. If you're late, get into the line-up for a free wristband and connect with Karen later. She will e-mail her cell # to attendees closer to the concert date.
SNACK BEFORE CONCERT: After the wristbands are distributed, if interested, we could go over to Bannock for refreshments.
