Join us for a great Sunday event featuring a buffet-style brunch and a screening of The Graduate, a 1967 coming-of-age film starring Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft and Katharine Ross.
The cost of the brunch and movie is only $10, including tax. Drinks and gratuities are extra.
This event is being hosted by Alex, our group's classic film buff who heads up Toronto Classic Films, one of Belinda's favourite meetup groups.
The Graduate is the story of Benjamin Braddock (Dustin Hoffman) a recent college graduate, trying to figure out which direction he's going to go in his life. In the meantime he gets seduced and is having an affair with his fathers' business partner's wife, Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft). At the same time, Benjamin manages to fall madly in love with Mrs. Robinson's daughter, Elaine (Katharine Ross). The Graduate is directed by Mike Nichols and we hear the music of Simon and Garfunkel throughout the film. More information.
