THE OPEN HOUSE

The Toronto Centre for the Arts will be holding its 2013/2014 (and Third Annual!) Visit the centre's three theatre spaces, including the:

stunning Art Deco-inspired Main Stage

warm, elegant George Weston Recital Hall

sleek, streamlined Studio Theatre

Also explore our three event spaces: the Piano Lounge, the Gallery, and the Lobby VIP Lounge.

Enjoy FREE performances in the George Weston Recital Hall, Studio Theatre, Piano Lounge, and Gallery previewing the centre's 2013/2014 Season!

There will be performances by:

Angelwalk Theatre

Bach Children’s Chorus,

Encore Entertainment

Jazz Performance and Education Centre

FYI Kids

Orchestra Toronto

Shakespearience Performing Arts

We are One Jazz Project

Performances range from orchestral and chamber music, to musical theatre, to jazz, to choirs, to workshops!

If you’d rather be on stage, you’ll even have an opportunity to walk the Main Stage – a stage that has held such stars as the Jersey Boys and the Backstreet Boys!

There will also be complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and pop corn in the lobby, or you can enjoy food in the centre's front turning circle by Urban Smoke and Beavertail food Trucks. You definitely won’t go hungry!

There will be several draws throughout the day, and the more theatre companies you speak with, the more chances you have to win!

The Toronto Centre for the Arts 2013/2014 Season Launch Open House is being presented in conjunction with Culture Days. Culture Days is a collaborative coast to coast volunteer movement to raise awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
