Join us for the 2012 Scotiabank BuskerFest, a spectacular festival showcasing the world's most talented street performers.
There is something for everybody -- daredevils, high skill circus acts, magicians, silent comedy and slapstick, music, clowns, contortionists, acrobats, aerialists, fire, puppets and other acts for which no description exists!
THE EVENT
The 13th annual Toronto international 2012 Scotiabank BuskerFest will feature hundreds of amazing performers from around the world.
You will laugh yourself silly, cry and tremble with fear, possibly all at the same moment, as you watch mesmerizing acts from every corner of the Earth. This is Belinda's favourite festival of the year -- the ultimate theatrical experience! It will be her fifth year in a row attending.
Wear a good pair of walking shoes because you may be on your feet for most of the evening.
For more information on Buskerfest, see http://www.torontobuskerfest.com/
Note: Buskerfest runs for four days from Thursday, Aug. 23 to Sunday, Aug. 26. Our group will go on the first night before it gets really crowded.

MEETUP ARRANGEMENTS
Meet Belinda at 6:30 p.m. on the sidewalk on Front Street, outside the front doors of the Hockey Hall of Fame (located in the northwest corner of Front and Yonge). Belinda is very short and will be wearing a bright pink cap. Note: We are beginning early to get a headstart on the crowds. It will get busier as the evening proceeds.
BUSKERFEST WALKING ARRANGEMENTS: Belinda will divide members into smaller groups of two to four members who will go through Buskerfest together (rather than having members go through as one large group). This is based on last year's experience in which it proved challenging to pilot a larger group through the crowded streets. We lost a few members doing that!

A really fun event with lots of great street performers from around the world. A warm welcome to first-time attending members Clive, Steph, Michael, Ane, Christine, Inge and first-time guest Tracy and mystery attendees David and Jenny. It was also nice to finally meet Julia (Senorita Bonita).
