One of our mandates is affordable theatre. This means we actively seek ticket discounts when possible. We also go to the theatre on days when rush and pay-what-you-can tickets are offered.
We go to a wide range of shows, including:

Small theatre: Factory Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille, Tarragon Theatre, etc.
Community theatre: Bloor West Village, East Side Players, Scarborough Theatre, Curtain Call Players (North York), Mississauga Players, Oakville Players, Markham Little Theatre, etc.
Student theatre: University of Toronto(Hart House, UC Follies, etc.), George Brown College Theatre School, etc.
Stand-up, sketch and improv comedy:Second City, Absolute Comedy, Comedy Bar, Mad Dog Theatre, etc.
Out-of-town theatre day trips: Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival (Niagara-on-the-Lake), Huron County Playhouse (Grand Bend), St. Jacobs, Cambridge, etc.
French language theatre: Théâtre français de Toronto, Alliancefrançais deToronto, etc.

We also arrange post-production talkback sessions with cast members and directors, attend opening night parties and go on backstage tours. We also go to non-theatrical events like walking tours, dances, afternoon tea parties, fireworks displays and many other events.
There are lots of fun get togethers at affordable cafes and restaurants before and after events.
