How do you create a leader in flash storage solutions with a flash platform that solves the challenges of poor application performance and redefines performance storage in datacenters? Come and listen to Kumar Ganapathy tell his story on how he and his team at Virident helped enterprises and cloud providers deploy private and public clouds speeding up application responses by an order of magnitude while scaling with the server-side flash platform architectures. Kumar’s founding team included a visionary management team from Hitachi, EMC, Sun, Cisco, Sandisk, and Intel.
Virident enables enterprises to tackle performance-intensive enterprise applications with PCIe-based server-attached enterprise flash storage for databases, analytics, virtualization and other data-intensive applications. Virident FlashMAX II, a PCIe Storage Class Memory solution, ensures that application performance is ten times faster at one-third of the total cost of ownership. The FlashMAX Connect software suite redefines the enterprise networked storage architecture by bringing server-side flash into enterprise applications that previously relied on high-cost proprietary SAN (Storage Area Networking) hardware. FlashMAX Connect software builds on the FlashMAX II hardware platform and adds flash-aware network-level storage capabilities. Now you can use FlashMAX Connect to create Virtual Flash Storage Networks on the server side, and deploy applications on flash storage with shared block-level access and high availability across servers while keeping the low-latency advantages of the PCIe flash.

Introducing My Story – Another TiE SV Original Program
This talk is part of TiE SV’s recently introduced monthly program “My Story – Inspiring Journey of an Entrepreneur” to celebrate entrepreneurship and bring stories from successful entrepreneurs in their own words. The invited speaker(s) share their entrepreneurial journey and talk about lessons learnt, mistakes they wish they avoided and key decisions that helped make their venture successful.
