Living and Dying; A Tibetan Buddhist Perspective
We are very pleased to announce that Lama Pema Dragpa will be returning to Chicago to lead us in a weekend of teachings and meditation.
By investigating the profound interdependence of life and death, we will deepen our courage, soften our hearts, and develop a clearer, more joyful approach to life's ups and downs. This retreat will include meditation practice, teachings, and discussion on the topic of living and dying from a Buddhist perspective. Everyone is welcome.
The "bardo" teachings on the stages of life and death were brought to Tibet in the 8th century by Guru Padmasambhava and have been studied and practiced ever since, leading countless beings to enlightenment.
