Meditation can be used for anything from stress reduction to spiritual fulfilment and requires us to bring nothing more than ourselves. Buddhist practitioners have been adapting and refining meditation techniques for thousands of years, bringing them into the modern age fresh and alive. The aim of these practices is to calm the mind, warm the heart, and express the qualities of compassion and wisdom we all possess.

Join us for meditation practice within the Tibetan Buddhist context. We welcome those new to meditation as well as experienced practitioners from any contemplative tradition. Chanting is a part of every practice and no prerequisites are needed to participate.

An introduction to meditation and Buddhism is offered every Tuesday during tea. A one hour Learn To Meditate class is held on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30p. RSVPs are required.

Practice takes place at the beautiful Truc Lam Temple in the Buddha Hall on the second floor. Cushions and texts provided, just bring yourself!

Donations are appreciated but not required.
