I've been a fan of the Crime Scene Investigation series since it started all those years ago...
Imagine how excited I was when I found out an interactive exhibit based on the show is coming to the LA area! Let's go check it out at the California Science Center in Exposition Park!
Exhibit Information:
You’ve seen the award-winning television drama. Now it’s your turn to put your investigative skills to the test as a crime scene investigator. Created in cooperation with the hit CBS franchise, CSI: The Experience invites you to step into the world of cutting-edge forensic science and investigative techniques. Guided by investigators from the television show and their real-life forensic science counterparts, you’ll formulate a hypothesis, validate your findings based on evidence, and solve the crime!
For CA Science Center information (directions, parking, etc), visit:
California Science Center CSI Exhibit Page
For more information about the upcoming exhibit, visit:
CSI: The Experience Webpage (*)
(*)Disregard the ticket information on the official exhibit website. Admission to the exhibit at CA Science Center will be FREE! This is a kid-friendly event, so feel free to bring your lil' science nut (if you have one that is)!
***UPDATE*** I've emailed some of the members already who RSVP'd earlier, but the Rose Gardens next to the Science Center are scheduled to be closed for pruning through this Sunday. There is still plenty of space outdoors where we can gather to have lunch, so feel free to still pack a lunch. There is a small food court within the Science Center and a couple of places within walking distance if you just want to pick up some food there. We can sit indoors or outdoors depending on the weather.
If people are interested, we can even check out one of the IMAX films at the Science Center or check out some of the other museums in/near Exposition Park (Natural History or the African-American museums), all of which will require additional admission fees.
Parking at Exposition Park is currently $8 I believe.
