TIME OUT Book Exchange Lunch

We'll meet at the yummy New York Deli for lunch. Bring a few used books to exchange. (New books if you're feeling generous). Books can be fiction or non-fiction. Any genre will work: Sci-Fi, Romance, Biographies, Best Sellers, Self-Help, Thrillers, Mystery...whatever floats your boat. It's all good.

Bring CASH. The New York Deli does not accept credit cards.

The organizer will calculate everyone's share based on what you ordered and will round your total the nearest dollar so we won't have to deal with loose change.
(For example, if your bill comes to $8.07 - you pay $8.00. If your total comes to $11.79 - you pay $12.00)

Bring smaller denomination bills if possible. That will be a big help!

There will be a mandatory 29% added to each person's bill to cover sales tax and tip.

I'm sure you have all attended dining events where the money comes up short because someone didn't put in their fair share. This way no one gets burned and we can all leave happy.

If you are NOT ok with handling the tab this way, please skip this event.

If you have a digital camera, I would be very grateful if you could take a few photos of the book exchange to post up on the site. Our photo section is looking a little sad.

I will email my cell phone # out to everyone the day prior to the event. The New York Deli has a small seating area. I'll snag us a table. You should have no problems spotting the group once you walk in.

FYI: All of my books will be registered with BookCrossing

Your books do NOT need to be registered to participate in the exchange, but I would highly recommend that all book lovers check out this site.
