Now that we have finished (well, almost!) Pope Francis' Evangelii Gaudium, I hope that we may take his exhortation to heart, and that it may help us manifest the beauty of the Gospel in our own lives, in our families, and communities.
This week we turn to another reading also, in a way, on beauty. It is a Lenten message given by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI back when he was still Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, on the Contemplation of Beauty. Download it here.
It's not very long, so hopefully we'll all have time to read it before Monday.
Monday?, you ask. Yes, Monday.
Starting next week the Tipsy Thomists will be meetings on Mondays. So if you have friends who have been interested in coming but couldn't make Wednesday evenings, make sure you invite them to join us on Monday.
And since it's a new reading, it's a good time to get started!
We'll still meet at the regular time and place: the Ginger Man in Uptown, on the upstairs back patio, at 7pm.
Hope to see you all there!
Peace, Joy, & Beauty,
