I figure that I could start the discussion on what to start reading into after we get past Dante for the summer. I presume you guys were able to wrap up the discussion last night--thanks to Dan for joining us and bringing his love of the Divine Commedy: it certainly enhanced the discussion and brought insight that I think all of us were missing out on!

I'm particularly interested in trying to take a look at some early Christian Fathers' writings, and perhaps looking into issues in the early Church and how they were treated. I'm thinking we could do some selections from:­

Anyway, I figured that I'd just throw this out there and see what you all think.

I've read this book previously and it is definitely a must-read. I'm not opposed!

Sounds interesting. Sorry to have missed Dante... had summer ESL/SSL on Wed nights, but that's wrapped up now.
