D&D Encounters: Scourge of the Sword Coast (Week 6)

D&D Encounters is an exciting, weekly campaign that plays out one epic encounter at a time. Each week you'll defeat enemies, solve puzzles, finish quests, and perform heroic deeds, you’ll gain experience and gold. Each session only takes 90 to 120 minutes to play, so it’s easy to fit your game in after school or work. And each week there’s a new and exciting challenge.

This season...

Savage humanoids raid the countryside around Daggerford, causing victims of their attacks to seek out the shelter of the town. Stressed from the weight of the refugees, it’s up to a brave group of adventurers to end the raids and free Daggerford from its plight.

The Sundering is Upon Us!

The Sundering will reshape the Forgotten Realms, involving the whole pantheon of gods, many nations, countless individuals, and the fabric of the cosmos itself. Powerful forces both mortal and divine are set in motion, and will bring an end to the Era of Upheaval. Over the course of this huge story event, players will have the opportunity to help shape the future of Faerûn and make their story legend.

Two Ways to Play

Of course, there are a great many players who enjoy playing D&D 4th Edition, as well as players excited about the D&D Next Playtest. And so, this upcoming season of D&D Encounters will will continue to support both D&D 4th Edition and D&D Next! Some tables may be starting at 1st level, some may be starting at 4th level.

Character Creation

We highly recommend using the official D&D Character Builder if you want to play 4th Edition. Characters can be built using material from any official 4th Edition rules source, including but not limited to Heroes of the Fallen Lands and Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms, as well as Player's Option: Heroes of the Elemental Chaos™Player's Option: Heroes of the Feywild™Player's Option: Heroes of Shadow™, and Into the Unknown: The Dungeon Survival Handbook™.

Copies of the latest D&D Next playtest rules will be made available for players interested in playing D&D Next.

We will try and have pre-generated 4th Edition and D&D Next characters available. Want to build a character on your own? For this session you'll want to roll up 3rd level.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
