Olive Oil Tasting Class

Yasemin and the staff at Antica will teach us about olives and olive oils and will lead us through a tasting of fresh, top-quality extra virgin olive oils from around the world.  She'll also have delicious appetizers for us, made with her specialty olive oils and balsamic vinegars!

The tasting table will accommodate 12-14 people at a time, so we'll split into groups if we get a larger turnout. One group can sample the amazing variety of olive oils and vinegars in the store while the other attends the class, then we’ll trade places.

Each class will be about 30 minutes long, so we'll have plenty of time for browsing, socializing, and more sampling.

There is no charge for this event.

If you’ve read the book Extra Virginity by Tom Mueller, you know how difficult it is to know if a bottle labeled “Extra Virgin Olive Oil” is actually what it says or just a cheap substitute. (For more on this, see my article, “What's in Your EVOO?”).

The oils at Antica are Tom Mueller approved and are sublime.
