Toddlers Together Play Group is an inclusive playgroup for children with special needs AND Neuro typical (children without special needs) children between the ages of 0-5 years. Through extensive research, inclusion has been proven to benefit all children in a variety of ways. By sharing authentic play experiences, children will learn important life skills such as socialization, acceptance, respect, tolerance, diversity and communication. The primary purpose of this playgroup is for children to play together! Toddlers Together is a community-wide group for active moms, dads, caregivers (family members, nannies, etc.) and service providers to get out of the house, enjoy other adults’ company and build supportive, lasting relationships. For the children, Toddlers Together is a group where kids can just be kids! In our group, members and their children will be encouraged to run, jump, sing, skip, hop, dance and play in a variety of play situations. Toddlers Together members will enjoy play-dates in members’ homes, outings to parks & playgrounds, library story times, field trips to farms & museums, indoor play centers (i.e. Sandbox, Bounce-it-out, etc.) and other fun, member-suggested activities. This is an all-inclusive playgroup! We strongly encourage dads, grandparents, service providers and all interested parties to participate in this fun and active group! Toddlers Together is a place where strong parents--together--build strong kids!
