Finally! We'll be watching a JAPANESE film in JAPAN! And YES - there WILL be English Subtitles :D (Happy Joy Happy Joy) Not only that - tickets are 1000YEN as it's the first of the month!!
Anyone familiar with Anime/Manga will know of Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X and they've finally brought a live action version to screen!
Based on the manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki, Rurouni Kenshin is set in the early Meiji period, and is about an assassin named Himura Kenshin, who becomes a wanderer to protect the people of Japan.
We'll be watching the film in TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills.

As it's the first of the month, tickets at 1000yen (1100 yen all up with meetup fee) for those that confirm with me by 3pm on Saturday the 1st. Tickets will be 1000yen on the day for adults, but are very likely to be sold out. Please keep in mind that tickets are NOT refundable and if you do not show, you will still be liable to pay for them. Any late RSVPs - I cannot guarantee your ticket for you. If you haven't attended one of our meetups before, please CALL me with your Keitai and introduce yourself prior to my purchasing tickets for you. I cannot allocate a ticket to you unless you do this.

The movie will finish around 9.25 pm or so and if people aren't too tired, we'll head to a venue for food and drink. Please note that the 100yen meetup fee will still apply if you come, even if you didn't attend the film or bought your own ticket. Please be courteous and pay me after the movie or at the after event.
