Jam Session In Toda

Tentative plan: An acoustic jam from 2:30-4:30pm (bring your acoustic guitar, piano, flute, violin, percussion etc plus electric bass) and then amps and drums out for rock, blues, funk, punk or whatever for the second half.

If less than 10 people attend the above format may change (to be decided by attendees).

The space is large and comfortable and the cost is low (¥1200 total for 4 hours plus microphone rental, to be split by attendees).

Music gear available is:  1 upright piano  1 electone   10 other keyboards!  2 guitar amps   1 bass amp   1 drum set     and microphones available for hire                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   http://www.compal.jp/sisetsuriyou.htm

There is bus access as follows:

★ From Todakoen(戸田公園) station (JR Saikyo line 埼京線 )                                        Take [川52] for Shimosasame(下笹目) Get off at “Sasame higashi shogakko”bus stop (笹目東小学校) , and  5 minutes on foot

Buses are also available from Kawaguchi and Nishikawaguchi stations.

BYO snacks and drinks. If many attend, take turns to play and relax, chat  and snack while waiting.

So it is actually from 2:30 to 6:30, right? Acoustic for 2 hours then electric for 2 hours. I'd like to go. I'll have to look for an alternative route. Last time it took a long time to get there.

Hi, I'm very sorry but a work related function came up at the exact same time as the jam! I really wanted to attend, too! Thank you for organizing, I hope there will be another chance in the future.
