Sekaido Shinjuku store trip!

Sekaido Shinjuku is an enormous arts and crafts store that has an entire floor dedicated to ... *gasp* MANGA SUPPLIES!!

...okay, I will stop drooling now. But as anyone who has been there can attest, it is huge and awesome, packed to the gills with ultra-cool modern japanese stationary. Here's a video so you can catch a glimpse of what you'd be getting in to:

I thought it would be fun to shop/oggle at stuff over there, then hit a nearby cafe and try out some of the art supplies, draw and chat.

Bonus! It's a good place to check out for presents to send home ;)

directions to the store: from the south exit of JR, right outside of the station is a big road called Koshu-Kaido. Turn left and follow the road down the hill for about five minutes. Go past IDC Otsuka (furniture store), go past forever 21, then take a left at Marui Annex until you see another big street (Shinjuku Doori). It'll be directly on your right. The kanji for the store is 世界堂

I'll email attendees my contact information so you don't get lost. Hope to see you there!

    *phew* ;)
Anyone have a favorite cafe in Shinjuku? It might be hard to find a spot with enough space, but if so we can always hit up a Saizeria ;)

I will be selling two books. The first book is Projekt MUSE Volume 1, which is the doujinshi I've been selling at Comitia. I am also going to be selling a new collection of illustrations from Projekt MUSE. We are an original circle smack in the middle of the original doujin section, so a parody doujin might be a problem (I don't know, I'll try and find out).

Darold, if you're okay with other people having like a book or two at your table, what is the theme of your table? I know that at Comiket they like everything to be kind of sectioned together so are your doing fan doujinshi or original work? I'm thinking of either throwing together a 20 page "Tiger and Bunny" quickie or maybe getting 20 pages of my original comic done... Or I could just help you guys so I can see how this stuff is done since I don't know how to print here... 6(^_^; )
