Sorry I missed Kelly. Work puts big demands on some of us. I hope we can connect again soon. We had a very wide ranging and enlightening discussion. This is a valuable group.

I think it provides a much needed forum to bounce ideas, discuss literature as well as sharpen our 'critical thinking' muscles.

I had a very nice time at the winter potluck! I only wish it would have been longer, as I had not enough time to adequately meet everyone. I enthusiasticlly look forward to future meetings, and I will try my best to encourage more like-minded people in my area to attend!

It's a great group made up of kind, progressive atheists and freethinkers.

Because, from my experience, members of this group are generally nice people who think. Thinking is not over-rated. Thinking is a sign that we're individuals. People who think are generally not religious. Thinking is good.

Others should join this group because when you surround yourself with good people who have a rational and reason based mindset, you cant lose in my opinion. Also, to put others at ease, if they aren't already, that its ok to let go of imaginary bullies, I mean friends ;P
