Visual Studio Database Projects and SSDT

Over the past decade, Microsoft has been evolving the tools and approach for database development. With the release of SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), Microsoft developers have access to a rich and powerful suite of tools to help manage, develop and refactor databases. We will take a look at using SSDT projects and Visual Studio database projects as well as how they fit in to your overall ALM strategy.

Dylan Berry is an Application Consultant at CIBC working with data centric financial applications build on Microsoft SQL Server and SharePoint. In addition to development and maintenance of the application platform, Dylan is responsible for ensuring development teams within his division have the information and tools they need in order to maximize application quality and increase efficiency of construction.

Meeting starts at 5:30pm with Pizza and networking. Presentation begins at 6:00pm.
