Canada's longest running gaming convention.
Most games run for 4 hours, but games can be shorter or longer. Some games are part of larger tournaments running in several gaming slots. When the schedule is published, please ensure that the games you choose do not overlap. At CanGames, we strive to offer variety.
We run more traditional fare as well as some of the newer games out there.
CanGames Traditions It’s hard to imagine CanGames without certain fixtures such as Chariots and Gladiatorials. These games have been with us since the early days of the con, and we consider them to be Traditions.
Bring your children aged 8 to 12 to the con on Saturday and we will keep them playing from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. This is a service for registered attendees only. At this age, the children know how to read and can get more out of the games they play. CanGames' staff reserve the right to bring a disruptive child back to his or her parent's game table.
Fantasy and Sci-Fi Miniatures Games
Warhammer, Mordheim, and D and D Miniatures have all been offered in past years. Historical Miniatures Games It's hard to think of a gaming convention without including the patriarch of modern gaming. We offer games in a variety of systems as well as time periods.
Role Playing Games
We encourage Game Masters to have original plots. The games you play at CanGames are rarely seen anywhere else.
Youth games are reserved for 13-18 year olds. Youths can also play in games available for adults.
Please note: This is not a TAG event, though if you do plan on attending, please RSVP as other community members may want to connect with you, share a ride, share accommodation, enjoy a meal together, and possibly just want to meet-up with you.
