Oddly enough, these things change from time to time. Weekends used to work out but now I find that weeknights work well every now and then. It's quite difficult to pin down a regular time since this is always in flux. I'll just have to 'roll with it' for now. I also find that afternoons seem best, for now. No particular area of town is preferred. Downtown, Midtown, New Market, Scarborough, Markham, etc. makes no difference to me.
Now this is strange; I find my preferences tied directly to my desires to play, which currently have no particular/exact schedule. I can't really come up with a solid time frame, seeing as my desires to game also change from day to day--it's almost an emotional whim/fancy, but believe me, I do like to game.
Again, it's like that Shakespearean description of Fate, as a wheel. Some games rise up and take the top three and then, after a time, they fall down, only to rise up again. It's like a cycle. I'll just post what genres I've played and enjoyed in the past: Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Modern/Contemporary weapons.
Firstly: RPGer, Secondly: a boardgamer, and Thirdly: a wargamer.
I didn't. One day, I was surfing the internet, looking up rpg sites closest to Toronto and BAM!--there was Meetup.com. So, I typed in games and got two groups to join...and here I am today! It's nice to have made your acquaintance.
This is what fascination with aleatoric polyhedrals lead to.
