5:45 – 6:00 PM GATHER at MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY CANADIAN ART, 952 Queen St. West (just west of Shaw, enter via courtyard)

6:00 – 6:20 @ MOCCA, VIEW + DISCUSS Are You Alright? New Art from Britain. Spanking-new art from emerging British talents. In several cases, artworks were borrowed from collectors who had just acquired pieces at Basel Miami in December. Art styles range from the grotesque to the folkloric to the lyrical: we’ll talk about the traits associated with these approaches, to assist in future identification.

6:25 – 6:45 EDWARD DAY GALLERY, 952 QSW (entrance next door to MoCCA, via same courtyard). PREVIEW Two Tales of the City + MEET artists Elaine Waisglas (digital artist and esteemed TV producer/screenwriter) + urban landscape painter Pat Sullivan of Port Colborne. We’ll SHARE INSIGHTS into Waisglas’ new video about the garden in winter + paintings of Don Valley parkway by Sullivan + ENJOY a generous Valentines’ treat of sparkling Prosecco wine and chocolates.

6:50 – 7:10 CLINT ROENISCH GALLERY, 944 QSW (just east of MoCCA complex)

Evolving out of St. Catherine’s artist Jimmy Limit’s affinity for the aesthetic of the product catalogue, Show Room features his cheery-bright photographs and sculptures exploring the relationship between image, object, and consumption. MEET the artist and learn about the poetry of commerce and his prodigious artist’s zine production.

7:20 – 7:35 GRAVITYPOPE, 1010 QSW. This 4,000 square-foot unisex boutique opened in November. Lushly conceived by designer Peter Turner with Louis XVI furniture,1920s' French chandeliers and a superb 1930s' Art Deco staircase (from the Buenos Aires Paramount Theatre) this place is a knock-out. Canadian-owned, founded in Edmonton, with outlets in Vancouver + Calgary. Recently spotted: red patent-leather Jil Sanders’ pumps and best knit hats around. MEET manager Jody Kirk to talk trends. RECEIVE $30 DISCOUNT COUPON

7:35- 7:50 WALK to THE RAQ, 739 Queen Street West, 2nd floor (Queen yards west of Tecumseth). BIG resto-lounge, with living-room-like seating clusters and pool tables. We love this place for talking. SAMPLE COMPLIMENTARY mini-quiches courtesy of our delightful and longstanding sponsor Suzanne Manvell.

TIP If you are looking for a condo in the area please consider contacting Suzanne as she lives here and knows it very well.

You’re invited! Stay on, pay for your own food and drinks and spend this special evening with friends!

I really enjoyed this Meet up ... my first walk , talk where is my umbrella event. Conversations about art work where titillating as well as moments of contemplation, a wow here when we learned that this stair case at Gravity Pope was imported from Brazil...well Queen St.West never looked so good and now I can stroll down the street in my NEW pair Block London Shoes a prize from Gravity Pope as I entered the contest with the encouragement of our charming hostess Betty Ann. Thanks
