Centre for Social Innovation (map)
Chances are, your organization has a social media presence (or is very seriously thinking about it). But being ‘present’ is not enough. At this point, we understand the potential value of social media. It’s time to talk about the plans and policies that give your activities focus, structure, and direction. How you will manage your social media presence? Can you retain control of your message? What safeguards can you put in place?
Join us at our next Cause Marketer's Meetup for an informal case study presentation by Bianca Freedman from the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation and Virginia Middleton from Kids Help Phone. Bianca will walk us though the CVH experience of creating a social media strategy built on defined goals, measurable benchmarks and the Foundation’s overall marketing strategy – and she will share the results of implementation to date. Virginia will give us a glimpse of the social media challenges faced by Kids Help Phone and the guidelines they've put in place to deliver a consistent brand and protect the anonymity of the children and teens they serve.
