Centre for Social Innovation (map)
Does your nonprofit have a blog? Do you need one? That depends – do you have a social media strategy? Do you have a story to tell? Do you have the people power to deliver content?
One year ago, Evergreen reviewed these questions and forged ahead, launching two blogs. A year later, they have a lively, dynamic blog community that delivers information, education and stories to a growing audience of engaged readers.
Our next Cause Marketer's Meetup will feature an informal case study presentation by Aurelia Dalinda and Erin Elliott from Evergreen. Aurelia and Erin will give us a glimpse of the Evergreen experience with both a nationwide blog and a local blog focused on Toronto’s Evergreen Brick Works. They will tell us how, with zero budget, they assembled a ‘blog squad’ of 16 enthusiastic contributors, regularly delivering fresh, relevant content about making our cities more livable.
If you want to amplify your reach through blogging, please join us as we learn from the Evergreen experience!

Thank you to Aurelia and Erin from Evergreen and Marlene of moflow for organizing this Cause Marketer's Meetup! It was fantastic to hear about the evolution of Evergreen's online communications strategy from one writer, one editor, and a web developer to an organization-wide commitment to building community through blogs and social media. Bravo, and thank you to everyone who attended.
