GoGeomatics Toronto June Social

Please join GoGeomatics Canada for our June Social! You will meet professionals, entrepreneurs, professors, recruiters, and students at this event.

This month, Trevor Taylor of the Open Geospatial Consortium will be speaking about his organization. With over 25 years experience in the international Earth Observation community, Trevor has a wealth of insight to bring to the table. This will be our last social before the summer, so don't miss out!

This month's Social will take place Friday, June 27th (7PM) at the Fox & Fiddle Pub at 280 Bloor Street West. Socials are always fun and free. So stop by for a pint and a chat. Feel free to bring friends and colleagues.

Wish I could be at this one but I'm giving a talk at the Ottawa Social at the same time! A big thank you to the Open Geospatial Consortium for speaking to the Toronto group.

We are going to release a spatial data visualization product called NACMAP Version 5.0 with which you can visualize various business data as layers of scaled icons, bars, polygons, polylines, labels, hyperlinks and other objects on the free Open Street Map of the entire world. The data can be provided with cvs files, Excel files and/or through direct connection to live database servers. Anybody is interested in using it or reselling it, please let me know.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
