As the final film in our March Madness: Stupid Movies You're Embarrassed to Like, this week's movie is the mother of all parody films, Airplane! This spoof of the Airport series of disaster movies uses sight gags, puns, and serious acting—a comedy style that was imitated by other films for the next 20 years. Several of the spoken lines have become part of American culture. Airplane! has been voted the #1 comedy film of all time in several polls. It stars Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty and features Leslie Nielsen, Robert Stack, Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Lorna Patterson.

    Hope to see you there!
