HD is pretty convincing solution. It allows enterprises reuse their people skill set via e.g. SQL. Once concerns from enterprise side such is security and privacy get addressed, I think hadoop2 with help of HD will soar among business(as parts of cloud solutions I guess).

Really great introduction to Hadoop architecture and how Pivotal HD provides additional interfaces and adaptors overtop. Would have been nice to see a live demo of the console as well as a some examples of map & reduce functions, but time was limited.
