Hello and Welcome to the Toronto Polyamory Culture Club!

We are Toronto’s premier social & educational club on the topics of polyamory and open relationships. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and communities, and hold in common the belief that love and intimacy are great gifts that deserve to be shared beyond the monogamy model that seems to be the status quo in society.

Our vision is to live in a society where alternative relationship models, and in particular polyamory, are accepted as viable alternatives to monogamy. 

We endeavour to make this vision a reality by being a supportive and vibrant community of like-minded individuals, while in time acting as a resource and source of information for members of the media, academia and the public at large.

Our primary community-building activity is offering social and educational events for our members. Here is a sample of events we have offered to date:

• Round-table discussions on topics relevant to the polyamory lifestyle, e.g. Dealing with Jealousy, Coming Out to the People in Our Lives, Negotiating Boundaries in Open Relationships, etc
• Poly movie socials featuring films relevant to the poly lifestyle
• Potlucks and larger social events

Some additional events currently being considered are: a Ladies’ Social & Round-table, more frequent Meet & Greet’s, a Love & Intimacy Camping Weekend, plus other workshops and speaker events. 

One thing to keep in mind however is that we are NOT a swingers, fetish, or other ‘lifestyle’ club.  Although some of our members may belong to some of these communities and the topics of our discussions could be considered 'mature subject matter', our events are in no way X-rated. Along the same lines, while connections may naturally happen between members, this group is not designed to be a “Meat Market”; maintaining an atmosphere of safety and comfort for our members is a top priority.

To anyone new to the terms 'polyamory' and 'open relationships’, please note that these concepts imply consensual relationships for everyone involved, and offer a potential alternative to situations involving lying and cheating. We welcome those of you truly interested in exploring or learning about ethical non-monogamy.
