On St. Paddy's Day, it is traditional for many people to go out drinking. Furthermore, Brits will be pleased to know that, in Northern Ireland, it is a public holiday.

I had a couple of drinks and some food. It would've been nice to have some company, however :(.

I was there and couldn't find you. Next time you should have small sign on your table saying 'David's Meetup'. I see I wasn't the only one who couldn't find you. I was sitting at the bar for a few hours with my girl friend.

Does anybody want to be an event organizer for the upcoming pub night at Feather's? I would appreciate your help if you can provide it, so that those members who want to come will hopefully know, much more easily, where to find me. It isn't as if I can recognize those people I have never met before, unless they introduce themselves to me upon meeting me for the 1st time.
All you need to do the next time is write on a piece of cardboard after folding it in half (perhaps 8" long and 4 inches wide). It needs obviously to stand up on the table, and write 'Meetup' on it in big letters so people can see it when walking by. It would have been easy to find yu if you had the sign on your table. Also, a sticker on your shirt with MEETUP - DAVID written on it. Just a few suggestions.
I encourage anyone who wants to be an event organizer, for the upcoming Feathers pub night, to get in touch with me through my Meetup profile. I encourage people to do this soon, so that the person(s) interested would know what his/her/their roles would be.
hello, i was there and there was no one around or at least no visible identification of the group. I can suggest to the organizer to ensure to place a signage or leave the group's name at the front with the hostess so she knows where to guide people on arrival.I asked her if she knew where this group was sitting and she had no idea. This is bad planning...waste of my night
I'm sorry to hear you were unable to find me tonight. Had you indicated to me, via a "yes" RSVP, that you were going to come, and done this preferably before tonight, I would have been pleased to give you my cellphone #, so that you could've found me more easily than you'd been able to. If I don't know if someone is going to come, why should I give my cellphone # to that person? I only give my # to those people who RSVP "yes" to an event.
I am on the 1st floor of the Duke of Kent, sitting in the southeastern part of it.
Sorry, I've come down with a cold and can't go after all. :(
Do you like a lot of things British? Are you a Briton living in Toronto, looking to get your fix of all things British? Whether you're British, part British or have no British heritage, this group will bring admirers of British culture together.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
