The talk is good by itself with good presentation and info coverage. Just I wasn't prepared to have almost the whole evening listening to sales pitches, because empirically SMAC used to provide high quality technical presentations, like the previous one, which I ranked 5 out of 5. Maybe I won't be that disappointed if I know in advance that it's mainly going to be a sales pitch. Again, this is only my personal preference of technical presentations over sales pitches, nothing about the talk itself or the presenter.

Thanks for the feedback Antonio. We will focus on the technical capabilities and solution ideas in upcoming meetups. Glad you could join the talk today and hope to see you at future events.

We will likely be starting the talk around 6:30 tonight so don't worry if you can't arrive by 6pm. If you are not familiar with SoftLayer (http://www.softlayer.com/) and what it provides as a Cloud Infrastructure platform you can check it out a bit today before coming, or simply come tonight and see it in action. Leo Wu will be sharing his experiences and contrast it with other Cloud IaaS platforms.
    See you all tonight.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
