There may come a time when we need to move from place to place and a traditional knapsack is unavailable. We will be improvising backpacks, blanket packs and other carrying devices using common materials.

This event will be hosted by Joe & Doug, Organizers of The United Survivalist Network of Ontario.

Note: This event will be held outside. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking on uneven terrain and dress for the weather. This event will be held rain or shine, however for safety reasons will be cancelled in a thunder storm.

Thanks Doug & Heather! You gave me lots of new ideas for improvising backpacks & carrying devices using simple, common items, which will now become part of my kit!

If available, please bring one or all of the following: blanket, small tarp or poncho, pillow case, old pair of pants, para-cord or equivalent that you do not mind cutting, plastic grocery bags, webbing, coat, socks and a knife. None of these materials (see para-cord for disclaimer) will be destroyed during this meet-up, though I can not promise you that they will come back clean! :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
