We will be demonstrating a variety of handmade stove styles. Each person will then have the opportunity to make their own small wood burning stoves from tin cans. So, raid the neighbor's blue box or save your own, as each person will need a minimum of three cans. Two, 28 ounce cans and one 10 or 12 ounce tin. If you want to go a little larger for more heat and less refills, bring two 3 pound coffee cans (the kind made from metal, if you use the cardboard type, they only work once) and one next size down coffee can or a 48 ounce juice can. Do Not Remove The Bottoms From The Cans. If you have any metal working tools please bring them. We need, tins snips. files, can openers, "V" shaped can openers, sharpy type felt markers and perhaps a knife that you do not mind forcing through metal. We will have a few extra tins and tools that members can use, but it is always best if you arrive self-sufficient.
* Please bring leather work gloves *
