This event is a joint effort between many preppers and prepper related organizations from all over Ontario. It will feature several workshops, vendors, demonstrations with experts in all aspects of prepping, survivalism and self-reliance. Denob, of the International Preppers Network has been organizing this event for months alongside Old School and ICRRC of the IPN and OPSN. I (Che), of the OPSN, have recently been asked to assist in organizing this event and I'm honored to participate. I'm also grateful to have Colleen, co-organizer of the USNO, assist with teaching at this event as her skills are invaluable.

This is going to be a great event and we would love for you to join us. Come out for the day or stay overnight. This is a two day event. There are lots of hotels in Huntsville. There are some camping sites available at Arrow Head Provincial Park and also crown land 15 minutes to the north and west. Please feel free to contact us directly for camping site locations if you intend on staying overnight - however, a main camping location for everyone has been established...

Camping Location: The main spot for camping will be on crown land at the very end of Rockhaven Road in Hunstville. The following map shows this exact location from the event hall:

Location B (in the above map link) is where the main camping spot will be with location A being the main hall location respectively.

Thanks for all the helpful instruction and expertise on Saturday. Sorry I could not stay for the Sunday session - our Gravenhurst residence is on Day 5 without power, so now I get to use some of my new found skills! For my first meet up event, I enjoyed meeting new prepper colleagues and look forward to many more opportunities. See you again soon. Ted

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I feel so safe roughing it out in the wild with people who know how to start a fire and fight with bears :D I enjoyed hanging out with everyone and learning how to pick locks (tougher than in video games), water filtration, communications, how to ward off bugs (bug in vs bug out), etc etc. I look forward to earning a badge in successful fire starting!

I had a great time on Saturday! It was awesome to be able to network, learn & share information & experiences with so many like minded individuals (old friends & new friends) all in the same room! The vendors were excellent & had lots of product & service details to contribute. Thanks to the presenters for their well thought out and detailed talks! Big thanks to ICRCC, Ed, Che & the other organizers!

Lada needs a lift from Toronto. She does not drive a car but has camping gear. On her part, she would contribute by bringing lots of free bread. She distributes bread to the low income families and to those who need it. She could also make a little show as to how to turn one's old clothing into something wonderful and unique, no sewing skills necessary. If you can help, please, email her at [masked] Thanks!

There will be a data exchange at the meet. Just bring your favorite PDF’s etc. on a USB drive and you will be able to exchange data with other attendees, a great way to build a library. Computer equipment will be available. Please make sure that the data you bring is free of copyright infringement.
